As its known to everyone few months back Amazon discovered a vulnerability on its kindle devices known as k-drip(KindleDrip).

Long story short it wasn’t a major issue as people try barely connecting to internet as to save battery and only uses to download books or updates. The patch also closed this way one of the most easily available Jailbreak method. Jailbreak capability was identified long time ago which was a diagnostic tool was slipped through the cracks of factory firmware will also allowed to downgrade. It’s sad that they fixed it as of what they claims it to be but the fact still remains at large how will they be able to protect all the devices already being affected as they cannot remove the person having root access unless the send remote reset command.
Kindle Hacks
In case you want to convert an unsupported file format to kindle supported formats without going to manually convert these files:
This hack is essentially helpful when you switch from different device like the ones which uses epub or other formats.

Sometimes, Kindle firmware updates will break the Jailbreak(use emergency.sh to restore JailBreak).Search for your firmware on mobileread forums. See this link.
Do at your own risk as said earlier if you have a newly bought device or you don’t like updating your device then You might be lucky.
- Backup Documents folder(simply make a copy of that folder) + Don’t copy folder back to Kindle unless you are back to same firmware version with which you backup was created
- Now reset your Kindle then start again
- Check here your device version here & if on factory FW version

Drag/Copy the .bin file to your kindle root directory and trigger a manual firmware downgrade update(UYK).Go to the Kindle Menu and click “Update”. If it is greyed out, check if the file was copied correctly, and try rebooting.

Send Serial Number to mobileread

Copy main-htmlviewer.tar.gz to the Kindle root directory. (i.e., /mnt/us)

The primary tool for stripping DRM from Kindle books is apprenticeharper’s DeDRM Repo which works as a Calibre Plugin.
Stripping DRM (AMAZON)
Install Kindle for PC (v1.17 or v1.26) launch it, and download the book.
Go to ~/Documents/My Kindle Content
Add books to calibre after installing kfx.input and drm plugin v6.8
Run calibredb add book.azw. If all goes well, the book should show up in your library, and you should be able to convert it.
Or you can just try Epubor Ultimate
